Office Visit

Office visits are designed to allow ample time to address your concerns. Please help us to schedule accordingly by providing us with the reason(s) for your visit, prior to your appointment. If there are procedures performed in addition to your visit, there will be additional fee(s) as described below.
Mole Removal / Biopsy
$150 for new patient/ $100 for existing patients with elective removal/ $50 for medically necessary biopsy
If a mole is removed as part of an office visit, and sent in for biopsy, the fee is $50, in addition to the cost of the office visit. If it is the primary and only reason for your visit, and the removal is elective, the cost is $100 for established patients and $150 for new patients. There will be no subsequent fee for the office visit, unless additional concerns are addressed on that day.
There may be additional fees for pathology (sending your specimen to the lab for assessment). These may be processed through your insurance, or paid directly to the lab, for a reduced fee.
Wart / Tag / Keratoses Removal
$100 1-10 lesions
$200 11-20 lesions
This includes removal of skin tags, seborrheic keratoses (SKs), actinic keratoses (AKs), and warts. Some lesions may require more than one round of treatment, and this will be discussed at the time of your visit. Removal may be done with liquid nitrogen (freezing) or cautery (burning).
WHAT IS DIRECT PAY AND WHY?
Our office uses a Direct Pay dermatology model to give patients better access to exemplary care, increased quality time during their visits, and often times, lower out-of-pocket costs for office visits and procedures. Payment is due at the time of service. We offer a transparent and affordable fee schedule. After your visit, please inquire about how to easily apply for out-of-network reimbursement from your carrier. We will fill out and provide the necessary CMS-1500 form. Simply add your policy information and submit the form to your carrier.
